A Welcome Message from the Priest

Fr. rob davis, jr would like to welcome you

Beloved Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

I bring you greetings from the Vestry and clergy of St. Boniface Episcopal Church. It is my great privilege to serve as your priest, and I look forward to sharing the exciting new opportunities God has planned for St. Boniface as we build on, expand, and deepen our discipleship, following the steps of Jesus. For nearly three-quarters of a century, St. Boniface has served the Mequon-Thiensville area, making new Christians and making Christians new through our service to God, each other, and the wider global community. Jesus commanded us “GO and spread the Gospel of peace, hope, and salvation to ALL nations.” We at St. Boniface take that command seriously.

Over the past year, with your generous support, the St. Boniface community has provided support to hundreds of underprivileged schoolchildren through our Giving Tree donations, organized, collected and delivered nearly five tons of food and supplies to local food banks, and provided funding for local organizations who serve those often overlooked by society or who fall in the gaps created by inequity and injustice.

Nationally, St. Boniface is a strong supporter of relief efforts for areas devasted by the forces of God’s creation, and is committed to improving the dialogue to foster a greater awareness of our responsibility to care for Creation in order to mitigate future disasters. And internationally, St. Boniface is at the center of the ongoing dialogue between the Episcopal Church and the Anglican Churches in Africa through our deep support of KARIBU ministries’ reciprocal initiatives in Kenya, Tanzania, and Wisconsin.

These are but small examples of the impact St. Boniface continues to make in our community. The greater stories are those told by the new Christians brought into service, who testify to the difference Jesus Christ has made in their own lives, or by Christians who have been made new, who are seeking better ways to serve God in their own lives, all giving of their time, talents, and treasure to continue the work of building God’s Kingdom for the purpose of unity, constancy, and peace.
