Preschool

Our very youngest members, who are toddlers through pre-kindergartners, can become involved in a Pre-Juniors class that offers a flexible schedule for parents who can choose to attend either our 8:30 or 10:30 a.m. service. The children listen to Bible studies, enjoy snacks and craft activities that relate to a theme for a particular Sunday.

Elementary School

For children in kindergarten through fifth grade, St. Boniface offers a Sunday School curriculum that has been developed expressly for children in the Episcopal church. The Episcopal Church Curriculum (ECC) is built on Scripture, the Book of Common Prayer, the hymnal, church traditions, liturgy and history. While the children are introduced to the same topics throughout the year, they are divided into three separate groups with age-appropriate material. Those groups are: Junior Worship for first through second graders; Senior Worship for third through fourth graders; and GAP for fifth through sixth graders.

Middle and High School

For middle and high schoolers, St. Boniface offers a  Journey to Adulthood, a program that helps them develop a mature understanding of their faith and what it means to be a young adult in the church. The program culminates with a two-week Pilgrimage that has typically taken the teens and their adult chaperones to Ireland. The program begins with Rite-13, a two-year course of study for seventh and eighth graders that includes a special religious ceremony marking their entry to adulthood held to coincide with their 13th birthday. Ninth and tenth graders participate in the J2A program that culminates with an Urban Adventure (a one-day exploration of a city designed to teach leadership skills) the first year, and the Pilgrimage the second year.

After completing the Journey to Adulthood program, teens may elect to take part in a two-year Youth in the Church program that prepares them for Confirmation and active adult participation in the church.
